Meetings are important to keep teams abreast of projects and company news. But if not conducted properly, meetings can irritate or even frustrate the attendees. Here are some tips for conducting respectful and successful meetings: Schedule meetings at appropriate times It is very important to consider the appropriate time to hold a meeting. Weekly meetings should be scheduled at a consistent time that allows all team members to attend during their normal working hours. When setting up individual meetings, be sure to avoid scheduling any meetings right before a critical deadline, unless it is a quick status report. Organize the meeting so those who need to get back to their work can attend during the appropriate time and then excuse themselves. Meetings should also have a time limit, which the meeting facilitator should track and adhere to as well as possible...
